I love the feeling of watching movies. Escaping into another dimension, feeling fear or anger, shame or delight. Movies speak to our subconscious. There are so many emotions we can‘t describe, but when they are put into scenes, we can understand them perfectly. A cinema, for me, provides a safe space to experience all these emotions. But what comes after the movies? I often feel a sense of sadness and nostalgia, longing to rewind time to before the movie starts, when the lights get dimmed and the popcorn is still fresh and warm. The dazzling excitement of having no control for at least 2 hours. After the movies, don‘t you feel the urge to remain in your numbered seat, and never leave this warm, softly red lighted space?
